đ¸Stake BTC using Bybit Wallet
To deposit BTC on Babypie, users can decide to use the Bybit wallet only. Users can also use the Bybit wallet for the BTC wallet and another wallet, like Metamask, for the Ethereum wallet.
1. Ethereum Wallet (Bybit wallet or other)
In this wallet users will be eligible to mint their mBTC after depositing BTC on Babypie.
2. Bitcoin Wallet (Bybit wallet)
In this wallet address users must have BTC balance. This Wallet address must be LEGACY or Native SegWit format and will be used by users to deposit BTC on Babypie.
Also, users must use the Bybit Wallet to generate the signature that is needed in order to register their BTC and Ethereum wallets on Babypie.
Note:
Users must connect to Babypie using their Ethereum wallet only (could be Bybit or other like MetaMask).
The Bybit wallet can be used to register your BTC wallet and Ethereum wallet. Please make sure to send your BTC to Babypie's wallet from your registered BTC Bybit address. The registered Bybit address must be in LEGACY or Native SegWit format.
mBTC will be claimable using your registered Ethereum wallet address (Bybit, MetaMask, or other). mBTC is an ERC-20 token pegged to BTC on a 1:1 basis, and users must pay gas fees in Ethereum L1 when claiming via Babypie.
Important
We strongly advise against using BTC wallets that contain BTC assets such as Ordinals or Runes for deposits to Babypie. There is a risk that your UTXOs might inadvertently be spent when staking from such a wallet, potentially leading to the loss of your assets.
To avoid this, please use a different BTC wallet that does not hold any BTC assets like Ordinals or Runes when making deposits to Babypie. Babypie will not be responsible for any losses incurred if this guideline is not followed. Make sure to use a BTC address without Bitcoin assets like ordinals or runes for depositing.
